A married couple who were converted at the Springfield Camp meeting on Aug. 12, 1910 began giving out tracts in Lima.
Includes a cover letter about the difficulty of establishing churches and W. O. Moon's entry into ministry. The letter details the development of churches in FL and Moon's influence as well as the revivals held. Eary evangelists worked under severe hardships but many answered the call from other states to pastor in FL.
CHOG religious tract on the church published by the Gospel Trumpet Co. was given to a local Methodist church pastor to read.
Also known as First CHOG. The first meeting was held by L. S. Mowery on 9/22/1941. Sunday school was started by Sam Hutchenson on 1/4/1942. The church building was constructed and held its first servuce Dec 1945 and was free of debt.
