History of the CHOG in Harrisburg, PA
Scope and Contents
Message of the CHOG was brought to the community via the Gospel Trumpet while it was published at Grand Junction, Michigan. It is not known how the Gospel Trumpet paper was brought there.
The first message was delivered by W. H. Cheatham.
First location of believers was at Loysville, PA.
Revival speakers at Oxford, PA assisted the group at Loysville.
Services served in surrounding communities.
The group of CHOG believers moved to Harrisburg where services were held in tents and homes.
First permanent location was in 1923.

In 1936, the church and parsonage were sold, and ground broke for a new church in 1937.
