The Origin of the Creston Church
Scope and Contents
Mr. and Mrs. William Smith became readers of the Gospel Trumpet. They made acquantance with the author, D. S. Warner, in 1883.
The Smith's moved to Williamson, Michigan, where the Gospel Trumpet was published. Mrs. Smith served as matron and Mr. Smith took care of the business.
Ezra Smith, brother of William Smith, lives in Creston, Ohio.
D. S Warner held meetins in the home of Frank Smith in Burland, OH.
Building purchased - known as Tank Church.
House purchased in Aston in 1916 to be used as a parsonage.
Burbank church abandoned and taken to Creston.
Locations of services listed.
Permanent building dedicated in November of 1930.
