Scope and Contents

Letter is separated into a few parts that were sent together. There is a cover letter, and individual letters for Oak Ridge and Whittenberg. For the cover letter, there is an article on Oak Ridge CHOG along with some background information. The description of contents for the letter on Whittenberg has a collection of dates and facts beginning with a group of people starting Sunday school in a school house. Literature was sent up to MO by Estella Stedman of Beaver, OH. There was a revival held in early 1944, and then in 1945 there was a business meeting held to constuct a church. Construction began in April 1945 and was dedicated on September 16, 1945. The second part of the letter is a description of contents on Oak Ridge, MO. This portion was written by Mrs. G.S. Beckham. A revival meeting was held in Dunn School House in the fall of 1908. Letter states that Sunday school was organized in 1923 and the first pastor was J.V. Sutherland, the author of the previous letter.
