Scope and Contents
After reading a copy of the Gospel Trumpet, Edgar Williams wrote to Willis M. Brown inviting him to conduct revival services. Coming with Brown in 1902, were two women to assist him with the services which were held in a Presbyterian church at Jackson Ridge.
Property purchased in 1911 on which a brush arbor was constructed until a permanent structure was erected. First service to be hld in the church was on April 20, 1912. The church burned down in the Fall of 1916.
Information on first pastor, R. H. Craig, who was born in 1864.
