Letter summarizes the happenings of the church in St. Johns, Michigan. In 1897, the church was alive through the efforts of the unnamed sister of Mary Stockwell. Mrs. Stockwell hosted sunday school and church services in her home until 1941 when a Mrs. Stockwell purchased a lot for the churhc for $1,000. Letter talks about Ruth Fisher Murray, who was converted by Stockwell and became a missionary in Africa. Letter concludes with listing the first pastor of the church as David Mitchell, who...
