History of CHOG in Lincoln Park, Michigan, 1949
Letter begins timeline in summer of 1937 with a prayer meeting held in a home. After this time, a building was rented and sunday school started in the fall of 1937 when the first part time pastor, Elmer Lee Harris came. In 1941, a lot was purchased to construct a new church building. Construction began on October 28, 1944 and was completed in April of 1949. Letter concludes with a short biography on part time pastor, Elmer Lee Harris.
