Sections are on the early history of the Church of God, the growth of the Church of God, the history of the Gospel Trumpet Company, Camp Meetings for the Church of God, Church of God music, young people outreach, mission trips, Anderson College and other affliated universities with the Church of God, the Christian Brotherhood Hour, and a section on Church of God leaders.

Jones, a faculty memeber of Milligan College, had travelled to Bristol, Tennessee to hear Judge Strouse preach. Under Judge Strouse preaching, Mr. Jones found the Holy Spirit. Because Jones became a joliness preacher, he was asked to resign his faculty position as well as his membership in the Christian church.
