The letter is written by Cora Vance Webber and is a brief autobiography on her relation to CHOG. She mentions she has read Gospel Trumpet since 1896. Webber was a young girl in St. Louis when C.E. Brown held a tent meeting in 1902 or 1903. Later, Webber and her husband met C.E. Brown in Woodburn, Oregon and then again in southern California.
