Letter states that early ministers in Boston were brothers: Brother Doutethy, Teasley, and Blewitt (also sp. Blueitt), and visited their parents in Northern Ireland. Brother and Sister Cheatham were invited from England to go to Ireland to preach. In 1935, the Hutchinson's moved to Rochester, New Hampshire and T. Franklin Miller conducted a revival in the Grange Hall. The letter concludes stating a building was being constructed in 1946.

Letter describes the personal relations and history to the Church of God. The writer, Charles Volbert, came into contact with CHOG in New York City in 1919 and became interested in founding a church in New Jersey while attending an Anderson Camp Meeting. Volbert then had a call to pastor a church in North Bergen, New Jersey. The letter also mentions a church in Union City that closed.
