1st edition, uncorrected proof, original printed blue paperwraps, with black plastic comb binding. Somewhat long (10 inch) galleys, printed on both sides, and bound to open as a traditional book. The present copy was used in preparation of the next proof phase, with annotations to the front cover and veron in black crayon. The internal text is otherwise unmarked. A close examination the Contents page reveals a change was made of the font typestyle and spacing with the final version. Additionaly, a question mark is missing on the Contents page and in the text with regard to the poem on page 64. Likewise, a hyphen is missing on the Contents page for the poem listed for page 96. There likely are other changes or corrections elsewhere. Overall minial wear, near fine condition. Uncorrected proofs of Frost's publications are seldom seeon on the market. Scarce.
