Materials Specific Details
1st edition, original dark blue hand-tied paperwraps (as issued.) Published as a Holiday Greeting with a poem by Frost, and illustrated with decorations by Fritz Eichenberg. (Crane B7.) The present copy has the very scarce William Sloane imprint (1/25) and is in fine condition. Joseph Blumenthal was the proprietor of The Spiral Press, and the one responsible for the creation of the Frost Christmas cards. The blue wrappers have left a mild offsetting to the FEP, but it is otherwise fine. As the date may suggest, this issue is exceptionaly rare, especially in this condition.
