Materials Specific Details
1st edition, original hand-tied paperwraps (as issued.) Published as a Holiday Greeting with the Ann & Joseph Blumenthal imprint (1/125) using Frost's poem and decorated with a border of stars on the title page. This is the second in what resulted in a long series of publications begun by Blumenthal at his Spiral Press, and commonly referred to as the Frost Christmas cards. The entire press run was 775 copies with six varying names imprinted on the title page. (Crane B2.) Extremely fragile in nature, very few of these earlier titles have survived. The present copy is delightfully bright and fine. Very uncommon and scarce.
