1st edition, original printed paperwraps (as issued.) Published as a holiday greeting for Christmas 1949, the present copy with the Robert Frost (1/225) imprint. (Crane B21.) Frost has inscribed two lines on the title page: "Had been expecting an introduction./At home first half of January" in blue fountain pen ink. Uncommon with such a unique inscription. Beautifully designed and printed by Joseph Blumenthal. A bright copy in fine condition.
