Materials Specific Details
First edition; 4to; original red cloth, printed paper label on spine and dust jacket. With an Introduction by Siegfried Sassoon. Half title, photogravure frontispiece portrait of the author. Very gook, the cloth and spine label are fine. There is some foxing to the half title, frontispiece and to the page edges. The scarce and very fragile dust jacket is near fine, with minor restoration to the edges. This is a rare and fragile piece of book production and is particularly scarce in this condition and in the dust jacket. [Hayward 337; Keynes Sasson B2]. Housed in suctom clamshell case with gilt-lettered leather spine label.
