Materials Specific Details
First American edition. Some mottling to the boards, else fine. First book of poetry by the Irish Nationalist poet who set aside his Nationalist feelings to join the British Army during the First World War. He survived, barely, the disastrous landing at Gallipoli (only 76 of his 250 man company survived) and was killed in France in 1917. After his death Dunsany collected and edited two more books of Ledwidge's poetry.
