Biographical / Historical
Daniel Sidney Warner (June 25, 1842 – December 12, 1895) is one of the founding figures of the Church of God Reformation Movement. Especially during the years of 1881 until his death in 1895, he was active in evangelistic preaching, the coordinating and holding of revival services, and publishing books, tracts, hymns, and the Gospel Trumpet publication. He held the first position as editor for the Gospel Trumpet and then the incorporated Gospel Trumpet Company, a position that passed to E. E. Byrum after Warner's sudden illness and unexpected death in December 1895.
