Earl Slacum Open Letter, 1947

 File — Box: CHOG 561

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection relates primarily to C.E. Brown's professional roles as a professor at Anderson College and Theological Seminary and as editor-in-chief of The Gospel Trumpet. The centerpiece elements of the collection are Brown's correspondence of 1932-1934 and his research notes for his Church of God historical works, primarily When The Trumpet Blew. As part of his research for this book, Brown put an appeal to readers of the Gospel Trumpet to send their personal recollections of camp meetings, individuals and congregations. The responses Brown received are included in his papers, following the arrangement he established for them.
