J. W. Lykins born 1885 in Cannel City, KY. Converted at Connersville, IN in 1907.
Cannel City - Church building erected in 1909.
Charleston, WV - Writer went to Charleston in 1921 as pastor of the 6th Ave. CHOG. J. W. Lykins pastored at Charleston CHOG three different times.
Bluefield, WV - Writer went to Bluefield as a pastor in 1916. Few CHOG families listed. Locations of the church listed. Most "fruitful" years of writer's ministry.
Dunbar, WV - Held revival in a rented school house which was later Purchased and remodeled. Church was built.
Ashland, KY - Revival tent meeting in 1913. Revival in old school house in winter of 1914. Four week revival meeting in Christian Church.
Kenova, WV - Conducted tent meeting in 1913.
Huntington, WV - Rented hall to conduct a one month revival in teh winter of 1914. With no perople to encourage and lead the group, the members "drifted away".
