Reedsburg, Wisconsin CHOG
Scope and Contents
CHOG movement began in the Reedsburg community 55 years before the letter was written. They met in the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Meyer.
Mrs. Meyer received a copy of the Gospel Trumpet from a friend.
Mrs. Meyer invited Fred Hahn to come to the area to conduct service.
The church incorporated on May 13, 1910.
Services were then held in different rented halls.
There was a decision to build church ediface in 1920 at a cost of $6,000. It was dedicated on May 15, 1921.
Parsonage built and seld at a leter date to relieve church debt.
A small building owned by a church member was remodeled to be used as a church.
A donation of five acres of farm land was used for state camp ground.

A new parsonage was built in 1945.
