Scope and Contents
First concact with the CHOG at Racine, Wisconsin was in November of 1897.
Services were held in a small furniture store on Milwaukee, Avenue.
Most of the congregation were of German ancestry. German was spoken.
Editor of the German Gospel Trumpet was "probably" Fred Hahn.
Fred Hahn was the "first or nearly first to preach the Reformation message there" according to the letter.
The first pastor came around 1910 when the English language was spoken in the services.
Services were held in rented rooms and buildings until a small chapel was erected in 1911. They used the small chapel until a church building was erected at 1425 West Boulevard in Racine, Wisconsin.
