Beginning of the CHOG in Dallas, Texas
Scope and Contents
The writer and family arrived in Dallas in July of 1924 around noon with no knowledge of any people who might have heard about the CHOG. They also had little knowledge of the layout of the city.
On October 1, 1924, a store room was located which they used to hold services. The first service was held on the first Sunday of October, 1924.
In the early part of 1925, property was purchased in Hampton Place with a building being erected and dedicated.
Only two ministries of the CHOG in Texas giving full time to ministry.
Assistance was given from the Board of Church Extension in Anderson.
