Scope and Contents
The writer and another brother atending Springfield camp meeting in 1923.
Two families moved into neighborhood and with the assistance of another family planned a revival in the Mill Grove Schoolhouse. Revival began on Jan 15, 1930. Lighting provided with four kerosene lamps. Story about elecric wiring.
In 1935, Church meeting moved to Leather Ear Baptist church-house.
In the handwritten note from Pastor Sempsrott, the pastor asked Clayton Clark, the oldest member of the congregation, to write a history.
Includes Bios of Rev. J. R. Hillard and Rev. Albert Bastian.
Includes a list of teachers-1930. Includes list of church officials.
Organized Mille Grove Sunday School on July 6, 1930.
In Fall of 1931, Church moved to Union Church House.
