Prayer meeting begun after Edward McFall came to Spartanburg in 1922 giving out Tracts and Gospel Trumpets.

First connert under the influence of McFall was J. A. Rhineheart.

Sunday school and church service held in home of James I. Turner.

Incorproated on May 15, 1923.

Loan of $600.00 granted from the Board of Church Extension on Jan. 1, 1924.

Services in new church were started on Easter Sunday, 1925.

Chhurch experienced a "long, hard struggle."
