Item
Scope and Contents
Letter has various facts on people and dates on events for CHOG. In 1897, a Gospel Trumpet was given to a Mrs. Barlow who had never joined another church because she was seeking Biblical truth on the church. Letter states a missionary home was started by a Brother Peterman where it doubled as a school to train young gospel workers in the church. The letter also mentions Frederick Jacobson, a blind evangelist to Kansas City around 1898. He also conducted services in a hall for two years.
