Letter begins the CHOG timeline with a tent meeting and Vacation Bible School from July 12-24, 1943. The church was supported through pastor's salary. Letter details a new building project began in August of 1943 with the purchase of a cider mill. Old bricks were cleaned and resused for the church and people were able to use it beginning January 30th, 1944. The total cost of the building financed with personal loan amounted to $1.950.
