Includes a cover letter, which does mention the "colored" congregation of CHOG. Goes into the development of the church, its locations, its dedications, parsonages, leading pastors, and early pioneers. Says it was always a missionary church. Includes a picture of the church.

Note it uses the word colored to describe the black congregation. Information was furnished by Mrs. Eita Sheldon. Pilgrim services were started in 1889 in private homes and rented halls. A building was constructed in 1911 with an integrated worship service.
