Includes a cover letter, which does mention the "colored" congregation of CHOG. Goes into the development of the church, its locations, its dedications, parsonages, leading pastors, and early pioneers. Says it was always a missionary church. Includes a picture of the church.
There is a cover letter included. The church was started in homes with prayer meetings. It details the visiting ministers and the history of the buildings. In 1945, the building was damaged by a fire pretty badly and a new building was soon erected.
The early history and the early revivals conducted. The work in Floyds Knobs became the groundwork for the CHOG in New Albany and Louisville.
