CHOG in Alliance, Nebraska, 1949
Letter states that Brother W. H. Hinkle was called to Alliance, Nebraska to conduct a revival meeting in a Nazarene church. The letter says that Hinkle purchased an old church building, and that CHOG in Gordon loaned money for the group to make the purchase possible. The letter also states that a state organiztion of the CHOG assumed oversight of the Alliance CHOG in October 1947.
CHOG in Broken Bow, NE, 1949
Letter informs that in 1934 a tent was purchased to conduct services in to establish CHOG in Broken Bow, NE. The revival itself began on July 4 (no year mentioned). Before the an offical church building was constructed, with the dedication service on May 5 1935, a "dwelling" was rented.
CHOG in Cozad, NE, 1949
Letter states that W.H. Hinkle conducted a revival serviced on June 2 1932. The letter also mentions that CHOG members from a "country church" decide to worship in Cozad to encourage and assist the church. Then, in 1941, a church building was purchased that was orginally a "run down chapel."
CHOG in Kearney, NE, 1949
Letter mentions W.H. Hinkle and family moved to Kearney, NE February 28 1939 to start Sunday school and church service in the home of Emmett Register. Letter also mentions that CHOG rented an old church building and a Adventist chapel. The letter continues that around 1943, the state work of CHOG took oversight of the CHOG in Kearney, NE.
