The author is unknown. G.H. Colton started recieving the Gospel Trumpet in Sand Lake, FL in 1897. He requested to Gospel Trumpet Co. for a minister to come and preach tthere. A. J. Poulson and wife and L. V. Strickland answered the call in 1898. Their work started in Pool Branch.

The letter details the development of churches in FL and Moon's influence as well as the revivals held. Eary evangelists worked under severe hardships but many answered the call from other states to pastor in FL.
