Letter contains information on CHOG in Springfield, MO. The chruch building was constructed in 1904 when W. J. Henry was pastor. In 1885, Sister Carmichael led a reformation and invited J. P. Haver to hold a revival meeting. The letter also contains a story that the writer, A. M. Roberts told to him by his mother about Brother Kilpatrick.

Details the ifluence of the Gosepel Trumpet and the advertising that A. J. Kilpatrick and Thomas Carter were conducting a revival in Augusta on 12/1893. There is a listing of some pioneer preachers.

Writer converted on August 15, 1901, at the age of 22, while attending the Elementon camp meeting. Her oldest sister was Wilda Weigle. Wilda's daughter was Edma Mae Anderson.
