Letter states that W.H. Hinkle conducted a revival serviced on June 2 1932. The letter also mentions that CHOG members from a "country church" decide to worship in Cozad to encourage and assist the church. Then, in 1941, a church building was purchased that was orginally a "run down chapel."

Letter mentions an invitation that was sent to fifteen families on June 6th, 1944 to meet in Hattie Deppe's home the following Sunday to organize a Sunday school. The decision was made to meet each Sunday, the first Sunday school was held on June 17, 1944 with eleven present. Sunday services were held in the Deppe home for four years.
